Walking for ALS on September 28
My friend, Lenny Rafalko, was diagnosed with ALS in 2019. His courage was an inspiration to me and all who know him. Days after the fifth anniversary of his diagnosis he succumbed to this disease.
You can read Lenny's story in his own words:

That's why I'm participating - for Lenny; and to change the statistics. To bring help and hope to those who have endured the disease, like Lenny. To ensure that no one ever hears the words: "You have ALS" again.
The past three years have been amazing for our Lenny's Light Team. Not only have we walked, but Lenny started a Golf Outing in 2023 and we had our 2nd event this past June and raised raised over $28,000 to support families with ALS.
The money we raised with the walks have brought incredible advancements in ALS research, expanded access to care for people living with ALS, and enabled legislation that impacts the quality of life of people with ALS and their families.
Please consider sponsoring me or join the team yourself for the 2024 Walk on September 28 at Cedar Crest College. With your help, we will be able to make a difference in the lives of people affected by this disease.
