Welcome to My Fundraising Page
From Lori's last post: Tomorrow is the last day of my life. Thanks to my boys for getting me to the ocean one last time, but now I must let it all go. I haven't been able to respond to messages, but wanted you to know I appreciate the love and kind words since finding out I have ALS. Tomorrow you can think of me and drop a flower in the waterâ'¦ It's been a wild ride. 10/16/1956-2/6/2025.
"Just for the record, I want everyone to know that ALS sucks!"

Thank you for supporting my ALS United Ride fundraiser! The ALS United Ride raises funds for local patient care programs and to spread awareness of the urgency to find treatments and a cure.
Earlier this year we lost our beautiful friend Lori to this cruel disease. She had been suffering from a number of symptoms but was only officially diagnosed last fall. Her battle was fierce and short. She said her final words on February 6th of this year. Lori loved the ocean and spent her summers working at the Jersey Shore. I am riding this Jersey Shore ride in Lori's memory and am joining my friend Kim who lost her father Craig to ALS in 2019 and started this team in his honor. Craig's Crew!
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. ALS can strike anyone, and presently there is no known cause or cure.
That's why I'm riding. To change the statistics. To bring help and hope to those living with the disease. To ensure that no one ever hears the words: "You have ALS" again.
The past two years have brought incredible advancements in ALS research, expanded access to care for people living with ALS, and enabled legislation that impacts the quality of life of people with ALS and their families.
But we can't stop now. The key to a cure begins with you.
Please consider riding with me or sponsoring me. With your help, we will be able to make a difference in the lives of people affected by this disease.
