Welcome to Peggy's Peeps ALS Tribute Fundraising Page
Mom (Peggy) was diagnosed with ALS in January, 2013. She joyfully participated in the Ice Bucket Challenge with us. We celebrated our final Christmas together in 2014. She left us for her home in Heaven in January 2015. I (Leigh) set this page up in 2025 on what should have been her 80th birthday. 10 years ago, our angel flew home and celebrated her 70th with Jesus. She is still loved here on earth
ALS is a devastating disease with no known treatment or cure. It causes emotional, physical, psychological, and financial challenges that impact not only the individual but families, friends, co-workers, and communities. ALS United Mid-Atlantic is here to offer comfort and support, including providing funding for the ALS clinic led by Dr Zachary Simmons who treated mom.
Funding research initiatives also remains a priority to end this disease. It can’t be done without a community of support. Please join us by making a gift to this special Tribute Fund and support the ALS cause.
