Lenny Cuts the Opening Ribbon in 2023!
Team Lenny's Light
The 2023 ALS Walk was an incredible event. We walked in light rain, but that only served to remind us of God showering us with grace, hope, love, and peace.
Team Lenny’s Light once again took first place by raising over $7,600 in the fight to unlock ALS and assist families. Lenny Rafalko cut the ribbon to start the walk.
When it was done, the team came back to St Marks for a celebration luncheon. We had a special treat of bagpipe music performed by Jim Rembisz.
St Mark's Youth Outreach thanks our 39 team members and all of our supporters for making this day another one to remember.

ABOUT ALS
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.
ALS can strike anyone. Presently there is no known cause of the disease, yet it still costs loved ones an average of $250,000 a year to provide the care people living with ALS and their families need. Join the movement to provide help and hope today!
