On Saturday, September 14, our community will come together to support the Ocean City ALS United Walk at the Ocean City Sports & Civic Center. 

The Walk is ALS United Mid-Atlantic's largest fundraising event. Because of generous contributions from people like you, our organization can offer truly extraordinary patient care, second to none. Throughout 2023, ALS United delivered a full range of care services programs to enhance the quality of life for individuals and families impacted by ALS. We are unique in that no other ALS organization in our region serves patients in such a comprehensive way.

Every single person knows that their reach is far greater than the miles they walk. It extends to all ALS families, friends, and colleagues.

So, keep on walking. Keep on raising money and keep your positive attitude.

Together, we will make a difference, one step at a time.

About Event Day

Registration

There is no registration fee for the ALS United Walk! You can register online in three ways:

• Join a Team -- If you are joining an existing team that a friend started, you can search for your team and register yourself here.
• Start a Team-- If you plan to captain a new (or new to 2024) team, get started here.
• Join as an Individual -- If you are signing up on your own, you can get started here.

We encourage everyone to sign up before the event! However, if you have friends or family that would like to join you on Walk Day, they can register day-of.

Show Your Unity

The ALS United Walk will allow you to see firsthand how your support makes a difference in the lives of people with ALS, and how it gets us closer to our ultimate goal of ending ALS. Whether you are living with ALS, a caregiver, or part of the ALS community, we encourage you to display your role in the movement to end ALS. 

 

Pick which color best represents you and hold your sign throughout the Walk to show your commitment to End ALS.

• Living with ALS - Blue represent someone living with ALS.
• United in Support - Orange represents those who love or support a person living with ALS.
• United in Advocacy - Yellow represents those who advocate for ALS research, care, and caregiver support.
• United in Caregiving - Green represents those who are or have been caregivers to someone living with ALS.
• United in Memory - White represents those who honor the memory of someone who lived with ALS.

Share Your Unity

Unity will be at the core of the ALS United Walk experience. Although each participant has a unique story that brings them to the ALS United Walk, their motivation is the same - to end ALS. To end ALS for someone they love, for their friend, or so that no one else has to suffer through this disease. Only through the power of unity, can this goal be achieved.
