I am walking in Honor & Memory of my Beloved Sister Virginia/Ginger/SiriKaur who lost the battle against this disease.  I personally experienced this horrific disease & the rapid decline of her disease, loss of basic life functions (walking, standing, brushing your teeth, holding a book, eating).  But she was strong and a trouper and said "I will always be in your heart" .  At the same time her full mental was intact stating "I am trapped in my own body".

If you know anyone that has had this horrible disease you will know and want to help find a cure.  Please help out anyway you can (small, med, large or volunteer - everything helps:-)

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. ALS can strike anyone, and presently there is no known cause or cure.
