Walking for our Wolf
Thank you for supporting our ALS United Walk Fundraiser!
As you're all aware, TransCore's Division Controller, Jermaine Chisholm, passed away in September after a years-long battle with ALS. Community service was at the heart of Jermaine's life for many years and, in an effort to keep that legacy alive and well, TransCore has created a team and will participate in this year's ALS walk in Hershey in Jermaine's memory.
Jermaine used a photo of "the wolf" from one of his favorite movies, Pulp Fiction, as his Teams photo. The wolf was the fixer in the movie, and that was a role that Jermaine filled as well. He was frequently tasked with fixing accounting problems, but he took on that role outside of work as well, often offering advice and guidance to anyone who needed it.
This walk is a great way to combine Jermaine's interests in physical fitness and community service. In addition, the date of this walk should line up with the dates of our annual MOVEment challenge, providing a great opportunity to extend the benefit of our steps to that initiative as well.
Come join our team and walk in Jermaine's memory.

That’s why we walk. To bring hope. To raise awareness. To provide critical resources and services to families free of charge. Your support can make a real, immediate impact. Will you join us?
About ALS
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of the ability to walk, speak, swallow, and breathe. The average life expectancy from diagnosis is just 2 to 5 years.
There is currently no known cause or cure. On top of the emotional toll, caring for a loved one with ALS costs an average of $250,000 per year. By joining the ALS United Walk, you can provide help, hope, and a lifeline to families facing this devastating disease.
Together, we can make a difference.
