Nabila Ramadan
Thank you for supporting our ALS United Walk Fundraiser!
❤ #نبيلة_رمضان ❤
This walk is on April 18, a single day after my Mom’s Birthday, she would’ve turn 81 but she’s forever younger after we #lost_her for #ALS #26years ago!
A walk I think I will remember ❤ #Nabila_Ramadan ❤
it's a lifeline for people living with ALS, a spark of hope, and a step toward a world without this devastating disease.
ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) is a cruel, relentless disease that slowly takes away the things we often take for granted: the ability to walk, to speak, to swallow, to breathe. Most people diagnosed live for just 2 to 5 years.
Mom left us in 10 months.
ALS doesn't discriminate, it can touch anyone, at any time. And right now, there is no known cause and no cure.
I'm walking because I refuse to accept defeat of ALS is a reality, one day we will conquer it. I'm walking for the families who watch their loved ones fade too soon. I'm walking for the moments stolen by this disease and for the hope that we can one day give them back. I'm walking so that no one ever has to hear the words, “You have ALS” without hope, they need to know that the world is fighting with them.
You can help by joining our team in the ALS United Walk or choosing a team member from the list to donate, every step and every dollar brings hope to families who need it most.
Why We Need Your Help
Every 90 minutes, someone in this country is diagnosed with ALS. Every 90 minutes, another person loses their battle with this disease.
ALS does not discriminate, it can strike anyone, anywhere, regardless of race, ethnicity, or income.
That’s why we walk. To bring hope. To raise awareness. To provide critical resources and services to families free of charge. Your support can make a real, immediate impact. Will you join us?
There is currently no known cause or cure. On top of the emotional toll, caring for a loved one with ALS costs an average of $250,000 per year. By joining the ALS United Walk, you can provide help, hope, and a lifeline to families facing this devastating disease.
Together, we can make a difference.
