Yvonne's Cure Chasers 2025
Family and friends:
I'm coming to you again looking for support in joining me to honor my incredibly courageous mother, Yvonne Dollar-Perry, in her battle against ALS. My mother-in-law, Sharon Farmer, bravely battled ALS as well and lost her fight on November 3, 2019.
If unaware of what ALS looks like and how deeply it impacts the warriors fighting: Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. ALS can strike anyone, and presently there is no known cause or cure. Wicked doesn't begin to describe this disease and to have it attack both of the mother's in my life feels more than cruel.
That's why I ask you to please consider joining me in walking and/or donating to help those with ALS improve the life expectancy and quality of life currently projected.
Please considering joining me in Wilmington, Delaware at the Riverfront on Saturday, September 6th to walk in honor of my mother, in memory of my mother-in-law, and the many brave fighters impacted by this horrific disease.
