Philadelphia ALS United Walk Presented by Hatfield

Rawlings Strong

Thank you for supporting our ALS United Walk Fundraiser! United against ALS, we can make a difference in the lives of those affected by ALS. Our team, Rawlings Strong, is walking in honor of Joyce Rawlings who has been living with ALS since 2022. Our team is committed to raising money to support people in our local community with ALS and spread awareness of the urgency to find treatments and a cure. Please consider joining our team in the ALS United Walk or choose a team member from the list and donate to our cause.

WALKING OUR WAY

On Sunday afternoon, November 9, 2025, our team will participate in The United ALS Walk. Unlike our team walk in 2023 that was held in Philadelphia, we will be hosting a virtual walk in Joyce's neighborhood in Downingtown, Pennsylvania this year instead. We'd love to see you there!

We are walking to CHANGE the statistics.

We are walking to bring HELP & HOPE to those living ALS.

We are walking for those, like Joyce, who can't.

WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP

Joyce Rawlings, was diagnosed with ALS in October of 2022. Blind-sided and devastated, this disease has presented countless physical challenges in her every day life. Despite being a healthy and active woman, this disease has quickly stolen Joyce?s mobility, independence, and much of her strength and energy.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. Every 90 minutes a person in this country is diagnosed with ALS and every 90 minutes another person will lose their battle against this disease. Currently, there is no cause or cure, yet it still costs loved ones an average of $250,000 a year to provide the care people living with ALS and their families need. Join the movement to provide help and hope today!

Love & Blessings,

Team Rawlings Strong
