No gift too big or small, and no such thing as too many burpees!

Our friend Margit Olson has been diagnosed with ALS: a devastating disease that couldn't have happened to a kinder, more selfless person. Margit is a dedicated high school science teacher, mom, wife, and friend. She?s the kind of person who always shows up, offering help before you even ask, and she really shows up for women?s sports (she is a proud Gotham FC season ticket holder and resident soccer superfan).

Now it is our turn to show up for Margit, in the place where so many of us met, doing what she loves (bench!) and, yes, a few things she does not (burpees, anyone?).

Together, we will BENCH OUT ALS for our dear friend, Margit Olson!

There are so many ways to get involved:

• $22 Drop-In Classes: Take a class with this incredible community (10a, 11a, or 12p). Sign up at openboxathletics.com.
• $15 Bench Competition: Hit your 1-rep max for glory, pride, and eternal bragging rights (Margit wouldn?t have it any other way).
• Burpee Fundraiser: Donate $1 per burpee and assign them to the coach of your choice. ($10 = 10 burpees, because nothing says love like making your coach sweat.)
• Silent Auction: Bid on amazing prizes donated by our community. The highest bid wins!
• Unable to attend? You can still bid, donate burpees-or make a general contribution online.

All proceeds directly support the ALS Mid Atlantic, per Margits request.
